I don't mean this to sound racist, but just wondering...

So the swine flu comes from Mexico, right? What's the best way to avoid influenza and other infections.....? Wash your hands!!! The problem I see is that in the building I work in, all of our cleaning people ARE Mexican!!! They speak very little English and are legally here (this is a state-run office), but still don't speak English fluently. So they are genuine Mexicans that are restocking the paper towels that we use AFTER we wash our hands. I've been instructed not to bring this up by management because they don't want to start a panic, but you and I know the truth now!!!

Talk amongst yourselves, I'm going to get one of those blue masks.

Unless they've actually been to Mexico recently or have relatives that have been to Mexico and back. There is absolutely nothing to worry about just because a person is Mexican. That's just retarded.

Yes. Those brown people are intentionally trying to spread the Mexican Pig Flu at your workplace...and workplaces around the country.

If that bothers you, just think...those same filthy immigrants are responsible for much of the food harvests in this country...They're going to infest your foods with the Mexican Pig Flu...
 
Swine flu isn't inherently a Mexican problem. It just happened to start up in an area inhabited by Mexicans. In other words, being of Mexican ancestry doesn't make you a more likely carrier.

I'm of Irish decent. The only thing my people ever spread was potatoes, bar fights, and dark warm beer. 😀

This thread apparently was a failed attempt for humor. I guess I thought the irony in the ethnic background of those who stock the paper towels was funnier than others believe. I'm not trying to say anything about working class people. The cleaning staff we have here are nice people, despite the language barrier. They smile and nod a lot. 🙂

Just an FYI ... the mexicans claim (and with good reason) that the swine flu originated in CANADA. Apparently a pig farmer may have given the flu to his pigs and it became less virulent. The whole swine flu outbreak story is an attempt by the media to create an "end of the world" scenario.

Blame the Canadians ...

are you sure? Korea manufacturers some fake ones that are really hard to spot. Check under their left armpit for a bar code. If the third digit is 7 or 9, you got yourself a genuine Mexican. 1-4 are verified Korean knockoffs.
