hey guys, im in the marketing of getting new computer speakers. I currently have the logitech z-5500. Im currently looking at audioengines A2 and A5 also the M-audio AV30 or AV40. I use my pc for gaming, watch movies, and listen to music.

WIth getting new spekaers I am also thinking of getting a new sound card to make my new speakers sound more awesome. THe sound card that i current have is a creative x-fi xtremegamer. I was looking at auzentech and Ht omega. Not sure which one will be better.

i would like to make this purchase in the next couple of weeks so any suggestions on speaker type and soundcard brand would be great.

Are you having any problems with the Z-5500? If not, why bother buying new speakers? The Z-5500s should be pretty nice...

The speakers that you mentioned will definitely be a step up for music. They'll likely be on par or slightly better than the Z-5500's for games/movies.

I would probably stick with your X-fi until you're ready to get an external DAC.
