I am looking for a site that will host SMTP mail (receive and send) and FTP (receive and send). Obviously, it would need to offer storage space as well, and hopefully be pretty secure.
I have AT&T email presently, but they added a bunch of security that makes it not work too well with some of my programs, so I am considering using another service for email and FTP (not sure I can easily FTP to AT&T?s servers. I assume I can?)

So far, I have looked at DriveHQ.com, SimpleURL.com, and NetworkSolutions.com.

A few of these are domain hosts, and would require me to register a domain name.
I would like to avoid that, but am open to it.

I host my sites at x10hosting.com. It can be free with no ads but you can ad/pay for whatever you need. Even with the free accounts you can point a registered domain at it. Only annoying part is you have to log on to the admin fuction once every 10 days or so or you get suspended.
