I don't know what I want to do?? (school related topic)

I am a senior, going to college...
I just received a rejection letter from University of Chicago, and my intended major is economic at U of C
My other choice is University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, i know their accounting program and engineering program is outstanding...
but i have no interest in accounting...

What program is UIUC also renowned for?
How is the future of engineering?

I wouldn't pick your major on what your college is good at. I would pick it on what you want to do with you life. Go to U of I or any other school and major in economics if thats what you want to do. Otherwise you'll be miserable.
