I hear you. I am not overwhelmed with warm-fuzzies about Pennsylvannia either. I don't trust Florida at all, but I'm desperately hoping it gets called for Biden relatively early so we (probably) don't have to wait for PA to sort itself out.

Not nearly to the extent Trump has, and Biden would at least bring the essentials back. There's a big difference between, say, interventionism and someone who wields the DOJ as a weapon to punish enemies and shield himself from crimes. For goodness' sake, Trump tried to have the DOJ defend him in a rape case.

I'm honestly baffled. Do you really think leaving Trump in power would be better? That votng for anyone but Democrats in this election will start us on the path to healing? The primary goal of this election is to get Trump out of office and bring back politicians with baseline levels of competence and integrity (even if you're wary of Biden, he does meet that baseline). Literally nothing else matters.

Not just that... I'd feel a lot better about it if RBG were still here that we'd atleast have some semblence of judicial fairness but life isn't fair and we're gonna get a good lesson about it soon.

I still kind of doubt Biden will win Texas but man the Republicans here have the stench of sweaty fear all over them.

Texas is at 8,149,900 early votes. 91% of the 2016 vote. 90% of these have been in person. Texas is on track to exceed the 2016 vote on Friday.

Evidence suggests the youth vote and hispanic vote is turning out in record numbers. Also a record will be set for first time voters.

All of the major Democratic counties have already busted their 2016 turnouts as of Monday as well.

I never argued that Trump would be better. My point is that Democrats and Republicans have been promoting both ideas since Reagan. That's why Obama continued bailing out the rich and Bush's war on terror. Biden and his Republican counterparts are no different.

The U.S. government needs to do such because it works for the rich, which controls the economy. That's also why the military, intelligence agencies, and various foreign policies were used across many decades to strike deals with various regimes and even terror groups in different countries, employ onerous loan agreements and aid with strings attached (like structural adjustment) to keep weaker countries dependent on the U.S.

The same goes for mainstream and even social media. Both are mostly controlled by the rich, who would prefer someone like Biden, i.e., a politician who will call for deregulation to allow for more financial speculation while using the military industrial complex to keep the petrodollar propped up, and meanwhile entertaining the masses and encouraging them to engage in more consumer spending, which also explains the near-absence of protests against what is essentially the primary warmongering nation and arms dealer worldwide.

That's why Biden should not be counted out, because one way or another the rich will get what it wants.

It’s funny how Trump makes fun of Biden and his sparse rally attendance, and Biden’s wearing of masks, and Biden’s social distancing. Since when has I CAN INFECT MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU CAN become a campaign slogan? Donald Trump, making America sick again. And again. And again.

Fake news. We've turned the corner. Vaccine very soon, just ask for one after you die. If you get sick go to Walter Reed and tell them you are the POTUS. Works 100% 1 outta 1 times. In fact if you get COVID you'll feel better than you have in decades.

The Biden rally in iOwa was pretty sad and the local news coverage was even worse. Airing video on the local nightly news, the reporter making sour face the entire time, rolling his eyes when explaining how the drive-in rally works. Reporting on air while Joe was actually speaking, then the horn blasts and the reporter again went on to explain THAT HONKING IN THE BACKGROUND ARE THE CARS ATTENDING THE RALLY, with again rolling his eyes as if to say WTF? And this obvious and intentional slant towards one party vs the other was also apparent during the debates for senator. Joni Ernst was allowed more than her fair time to state her sales pitch uninterrupted, however when her opponent Theresa Greenfield was asked a question Greenfield was cut off seconds after she began responding from either the moderators (there were two) or by Joni Ernst herself interrupting Greenfield with the moderators never allowing Greenfield to finish her answer to the question. Joni Ernst was treated like royalty where as Greenfield as some member of the audience who no one wanted to her from. So you have THAT to contend with.

Now today I hear that minority turnout in Florida is not what the Biden operations were hoping for. Those blacks and Hispanics are not turning out for Biden. This is not a good sign but yet was EXACTLY what I was expecting. Joe did himself a great disservice when Joe stated "if you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black." I have heard from so many blacks saying that one Biden comment completely turned them off to Biden. And now that appears to be the case.

I know that democrats are extremely stressed at this time and just not hopeful of the outcome next week. And I agree, it doesn't look good. I doesn't look good.

Yeah, I was going to ask him if he really thought it prudent to make that comment now, as opposed to say, next Wednesday (if appropriate.)

These people who are seizing on narrow pieces of seemingly bad news and have become certain of a Trump victory are possibly setting themselves up for humiliation.

If Biden does win this, I may have to put some of the more hilarious comments like those into my sig line for a little while.

To have humiliation you must feel shame. I don't think many Trump supporters have that emotion.
