Biden campaign says they raised north of 300M in August which would be a record for any campaign AFAIK.

Seems believable since they are putting up 10s of millions in new ad buys right now.

I saw this story this morning online and I'm left to wonder how many in this thread are just being spoon-fed Russian propaganda (wrt Biden's alleged mental status):

Wouldn't be there first time.

Also I think there is an argument that this could have seriously backfired with senior voters.

So then what causes Trump's meandering bullshit? Pure projection to imply Biden has mental issues. Listen to Trump in interviews back in the 80s, it doesn't sound like the same person. It's hard to even read a transcript of one of Trump's monologs, they are almost entirely non-sensical--unless it's one of the times he's just reading his speech. Listening to him is like listening to a small child try to tell you a story.

See greenman for example, the internet is giving him exactly what he wants

They're really working both sides of the aisle: if I recall from NPR this morning, some of the Russian propaganda groups removed by Facebook and Twitter the other day were targeting progressives, likely in an attempt to reduce turnout for Biden

Yep, 2016 all over again. I'm sure Bernie was robbed this time too, vote third party is protest, Biden made some dumb statement sometime, but hey, who cares, Trump is the honest to goodness troofsayer

It's definitely not the "series of mini-strokes" which Trump is suddenly *very* concerned that everyone knows that he *definitely* didn't have.

"Wow, the Qanon people are fucking insane, how can you believe that shit? Also all opposition to Biden is rooted in Russian psyops."

I wonder what the high water mark is for Independents and Republicans voting Democratic?
In terms of sheer numbers, I'd bet Obama in 2008 simply because so many votes were case. In terms of percentages, maybe LBJ in '64? Goldwater took a real thrashing, even if it's a depressing truth that he arguably won the long-term war. If not '64, it would surely have to be one of the elections FDR won.

Ideally it should be 100% against Trumpity Dumpity. But how brainwashed is his loyal 90% of the Republican base???
brainwashed enough to vote a second time.
Theres mountains of evidence the man lies every day, ass fucks America weekly, and commits treason monthly.
None of them care.
Fox News is better than anyone the Nazis or Soviets ever produced.

Running as the outsider during your 4th year in office is indeed somewhat awkward. It relies entirely on selling voters that none of what's happened is your fault which is a slight departure from "I alone can fix it". The likely shape and sound of a 2nd Trump term isn't theoretical like it was before.

especially interesting considering this is also coming from the guy that was eager to take credit for the economy since the day of his election.
