It seems like whenever I run a game for too long (25 minutes), or run IE with a page that's too graphics intensive, the said program crashes. I've tried this with UT2K4, Deus Ex 2, and SW:KOTOR. I'm running an athlon64 3200 and a radeon 9800 pro, on an ASUS K8V mobo. 512 mb ram (one stick) btw. I'm running on two fans, one large one (about 5.5-6 inches across), and one smalled, 4 inch one.
The thing that made me doubt that it was cooling, however, is that only the program crashes, not the computer itself. On a couple of occasions, the computer has bluescreened, but it wasn't the traditional microsoft one, it was another that first dumped physical memory to disk, then told me to reboot. It also mentioned tweaking my BIOS< and something about "shading". I'm pretty illiterate, as far as this stuff goes. Could anyone give me a hand, here?
Thanks a lot, AT.
