Yeah I'd say it's pretty damn cramped when you're sitting in the trunk..

Have you ever driven/been in an sl55? If you have you'd know that there are 2 seatbelts behind the passenger and driver, and there has been dating back to the late 70s early 80s (both my uncle and my grandpa had one)

There are two rear seats, although they are rarely used.
