I dont give gifts to my friends nor my family.. they dont either...
maybe my gf since i know she's going to get me something...
am i weird?

Nope.
You could either be:
A non-Christian/non-atheist who doesn't believe in God/Jesus/whatever
A Christian who believes Christmas is about Jesus and not commercialism
An atheist who believes Christmas is about Jesus and not commercialism

Or you could be weird.

Close, but im vegetarian.

A lot of people feel uncomfortable giving/receiving gifts without there being an occasion. Christmas provides an opportunity to do so, its fun as well 😛!

giving/receiving with OUT the special occasion is the true fun...

I have been married 35 years and we don't exchange gifts. We both feel that we "give everything" to each other and that buying trinkets just crowds out the finer emotions.
Adults should get what they want themselves.
I do buy 14 grandkids and nieces and nephews a gift.

It is fun, during that time of year to give gifts. I like to give gifts to some of my friends, and to the people I love. I am a giver anyway. I like to see the look on their faces, they light up, it makes them happy. It's about the giving anyway.

im not even christian, but i love giving and receiving gifts during christmas.

here comes all the nerds who're gonna say that christmas has nothing to do with being christian

I do it because I like to see peoples reaction to a well thought out gift. I like to enjoy the holidays, and giving a gift is one of those ways.
