I don't get some people on eBay

Just received this message from an eBay buyer

hello, I'm not upset with you are anything but the dt770s you listed in the auction I bought wasn't the same as the pictures. The cable was completely different. I don't care but the guy I tried to sell them to cared and returned them to me. I'm just trying to save you some potential negative feedback in the future. Anyway, thanks for the headphones!

Eh? I took some pictures than packaged it up and waited for it to sell.

Am I correct in assuming that either;

1) He's an idiot?
2) The guy he tried to sell it to is scamming him?

I just started selling again on eBay and I feel your pain.

I tried to sell an old game "Black & White 2 + the expansion + Prey" as I got them on a similar eBay purchase when I got Stalker...

Never played them...

Some guy won the auction and then backed out with some bull excuse...

I don't want to give a negative review since he will do the same...

What do you do some some people...


Sounds like your guy got scammed or is oblivious to what the headphones looked like to begin with.

Sounds like your guy got scammed or is oblivious to what the headphones looked like to begin with.

If you go through the non-paying bidder process, Ebay should be able to reverse his negative feedback.

Please forgive the noob question I am about to ask...

I haven't gone through that process before as I haven't had someone back out on me before...

Is it pretty straight forward to go through that process? The guy at the moment isn't responding to my emails.
