I don't get some infomercials

I saw the wearable towel on TV the other day and it just seems like the dumbest product. They essentially put down robes in the beginning of the commercial but aren't these essential the same thing? Aside from that, this product just seems incredibly useless, as there are very few instances where I would just hang out in a towel.

If you are going to advertise something, at least make me want the product. I don't see how this could ever possibly make money.

lol first snuggie (aka WTF blanket) now this, oh my. Sad thing is, there are weird people who will buy these things. The companies make their money, and they're happy.

In fact I would find fun to go to one of their planning meetings. Bet even the company things it's silly but with marketing research they realize people WILL buy it.

That Snuggie sold like hot cakes. People will buy anything if they think it might be good.

I like how these companies are "reinventing" (yeah, right) stuff that doesn't need to be reinvented. A wearable towel? Just use a bathrobe or a towel.
Snuggies are retarded, too.

What's wrong with the Snuggie though? Everyone hates on it, but as far as I can tell the only reason is because you look silly in it. Funny thing is, there was an almost identical product that came out before the Snuggie, but it was $50 and people here thought it was cool. I got two Snuggies for $15 from Costco. $7.50 for a fleece blanket isn't a bad price, and the arms are useful.

It's just that the commercial is annoying and tries to imply that there are no real alternatives to the snuggie. It really has no practical advantage over a robe.

Or a frickin blanket. If you live in a house so cold that you can't afford to take your arms out from under the blanket for a few seconds, you should probably move.
