I agree that there's too much blatant neffing going on...

However, concerning sticky in OT, if blatant neffing is bad,
why are threads like "The soon to be ***official*** longest thread in AT history" allowed to continue for so long? They're no different than "hey guys, nef in here" threads.

(I didn't witness the night of blatant neffing, so maybe I just don't realize the severity of the problem that night)
 
If it were up to me I would lock all blatant nef threads and give the OP's a week off. This includes parody threads and anyone who participates in that nested quoting where they just spell out random sh!t.

or 1 useless thread with 3000 posts?

Wasn't "wasting bandwidth" the issue?
 
Can someone define neffing please? Is it even a real word? or is it something along the lines of w00t? LOL. Nobody speaks English anymore because it's so out of style? Explain please.

I thought that generating traffic wiehter way was frowned on.

It may be what happened last night may generate a closer/tighter lockdown on abusers.

 
Not to rain on Minendo's parade, but why is a thread with upwards of 3k posts created with neffing specifically in mind ok, and many other posters tossed?

I asked that same question in the thread. I am assuming it is because Minendo is Elite. But I don't agree with it.
