She does well playing reasonably intelligent women and then plays some dumb blondes.

what is her story? is she just a dumb blonde with a great body or is she a clever intelligent woman?

one of my favorite roles by her is "Duets" with Huey Lewis. Shakespeare in love was pretty good too.
 
She seems to have a good sense of humor judged by her appearances on Conan, so I wouldn't say she's a dumb blonde.
 
Haven't seen duets, but I do like the song she sang in it. However, I thought that view from the top was actually a pretty good movie.

that's the movie i'm watching right now.

it's an ok romantic comedy.

and it kind of epitomizes this post. sometimes clever and intelligent looking and sometimes ditsy blonde bombshell looking.

especially in those tight polyster uniforms.

bad films make lots of money. money can be exchanged for goods and services. lots of money can be exchanged for lots of goods and services. if you make enough of it in your crappy movie (bounce), you can afford to live richly while you make the cheapo good movie (royal tenenbaums) for your art. then make another bad movie for money.

same thing with johnny depp. he made "the astronaut's wife" and "sleepy hollow," and probably rolled around in a mountain of cash, then filmed "the man who cried" (his second consecutive film opposite christina ricci and third overall), "before night falls," and "chocolat."

well Dweezil Zappa turned out to be a pretty well respected musician despite having possibly the weirdest name on the planet (his sister is named Moonunit!). but i suppose it doesn't hurt that he owns the guitar Jimi Hendrix set on fire.
 
well yea, you can persevere against adversity. but its generally not a good thing to stack the decks against your children.

If your parents are rich or famous, you're probably hanging out with other kids whose parents are rich or famous, and they probably have fvcked up names too. So you're all miserable and maladjusted together.
 
But just think.. people will say her kid is "the apple of their eye". Get real drunk and it's easy to think like a blonde. 😉
