i just saw the new icons, and now know what the hell y'all are talking about.
so, where are your offices located, i would like to send off an angry letter via snail mail to whatever moron thought the emoticons look at all good.

as for the rest of the beta... the interface is very ugly. functional (probably), but ugly. look at the buttons, they clutter the interface SOOOOOO much... can't you have a floating box somewhere?
and the things still don't "scale" correctly. I am using the "larger" font size in IE5, so that complaint may be "unique" to me...

okay i was a little harsh earlier with the moron comment... so i apologize, y'all are probably working very hard. and that work is appreciated.
but when something like this happens, it's tough to just wave it off just because y'all have worked so hard.
yeah, i hate the "new" ars interface too though it's older than this one. at least their emoticons aren't that ugly. (big green is still my favorite).
