Wasn't planning on dunking my head under the lower Tahquamenon falls several times when we got there so I was wearing my glasses and had to hold them in one hand. Kinda wish I had brought my cell phone as looking at the water rushing at me from that angle was very cool but it wasn't worth the risk

Such lovely brown water! 🙂

Still, looks cool. I've never bathed in a rapid river like that. The one I grew up next to (early childhood) was very sedate and about 1km wide at the point where I lived.

Give you a fiver to stand under this sucker in winter.

Hell, I'll give you a fiver if you can stand at that little overlook for more than 60 seconds. It's 350 feet. I dare you.

Hm, even if one was foolhardy enough to get under that waterfall in wintertime, one chunk of ice coming down the river from above and it's buh bye...
