I'm an intern, and my boss is currently on vacation. So, I have done absolutely nothing since he has been gone. To kill time, I hide from coworkers, look busy, nef and surf the web.

Assuming there are many more like me, I can't even imagine how much money could be saved if companies didn't hire interns...

im not an intern, but I ended up taking neffing as a project seeing as all of my projects got put on hold
 
i don't even have to be physcially present at the office, i can work from home and anywhere,

my employer provides GPRS internet, blackberry, laptop..boooyah and remote access to company network!

bah, im an "engineer" so all I get is a sh!tty unix workstation that can barely run an IE emulator...
 
ditto, there are a ton of us neffers here. i'm doing 80 for 20. And i wwork really hard during that 20% of the time and polish up my 80% of the work to look like 100.
 
i have a buddy who interns for a major company....

i bet he's got it better than you, haha, my friend gets paid for 40 hours work a week when he is only there 20 tops a week.

2 weeks ago, he went on vacation for a week, didn't even tell the boss and got paid cause they didn't know he was gone!!

I know. The boss asked me to keep an eye on you and evaluate the usefullnes of the intern program. I'm on my second notepad of notes...DO SOMETHING already!
