I dislike Newegg anymore...

Well, considering the FedEx options cost 2-3x more than the UPS options, I can see why some people don't wanna choose.

i didn't really care when they moved to UPS. i ordered a package on thursday. it arrived monday with free shipping. Can't really complain when it's a $29 DL DVD burner.

I ordered a case the other day at 10AM, they shipped it out within an hour, and I recieved it the next day around 2:30. They are a little more expensive because of NJ tax for me, but next day shipping for free in most cases cant be beat.

Depends on where you live. I get everything the next day. I can order in the afternoon and still get it the next day with basic shipping.

Those few times when stuff came from the east coast did take a bit longer though.

I'm glad I only live 3-4 small cities away from Newegg, all my orders get shipped and arrive in 1-2 days, even on ground shipping

I have no problem with Newegg. If it ships from NJ it's here in 1-2 days. If it ships anywere else, it takes 3 days.

Sometimes even gets delivered on Weekends

I ordered some stuff a few weeks ago early one morning and the system didn't even process my order until later that day. It then took another day to ship 2 items from 2 different places which arrived on 2 different days. My previous experience has always been immediate processing and same day shipping if ordered early in the AM. New system maybe?

I paid for overnight from New York for my cellphone (not anti-newegg, antiUPS) and they took 4 days to get it to me. It went from NY, to KY, to PA, to Ontario, then to Hawaii.

Been great for me. Always ship same day, and when it ships from the NJ warehouse I get it in in two days up here in NH. We have no sales tax up here so they are welcome to put a warehouse right next door to me.

As for UPS vs Fedex, I usually get packages delivered more reliably from UPS ground than I do from the Fedex express services. However, this may be because I get stuff shipped to work, and the UPS knows us well since we ship and receive so much...

Several times I have had Fedex send a package with their "Home" service when I clearly put my company name in there. The day it's supposed to be delivered, it's on the truck, but they don't deliver it because it's a business, so it sits in the truck all day, then gets re-labeled for ground and it takes another day or two even though the package is in the same town I work in...
