What to do... I don't know. Any way to block phone numbers and text messages etc from a phone number? I dislike prank calls or text messages that rack up the bill.

But I have to drive like 180+ miles to do that, and I don't think my parents want to go for a ride that far now.

I haven't had that happen since junior high. Someone saw my number on a teacher's phone list. I got calls from a lot of people, none of which I ever gave my number to. Lots of crank calls then too...

i know with verizon you can disable that online.

This is why i love my grandcentral number...i can set it online so that people receive a "this number has been disconnected" message, or have them always go to voicemail or all sorts of other options greatest service that no one can sign up for - hopefully google keeps it around for years to come.
