Avatar 3D movie used Circular polarization projection technology, clockwise for the right eye and counterclockwise for the left eye. Long list of movies that were released and coming 2010.

Why do Real D 3D glasses work in the cinema but they wont work with any other 3D images at home Are there any images that do work?

Not sure how you been able to watch Chuck 3D with the RealD Cinema glasses since they use different technologies.

I watched Avatar in 3D. My first 3D movie actually. Maybe it was just this theatre but I thought it was absolute garbage.

Overall the picture quality suffered, nothing was very sharp and it simply felt like going back and watching standard definition TV.

Fast moving objects would flicker - Probably the most annoying of all.

Was hard to focus on things, even late into the movie.

The glasses were not big enough to cover the whole screen, so the left and right edges were extra blurry unless I turned my head to look at them.

Up was already good without 3D. It adds nothing to the movie that you wouldn't have without it. Just another gimmick to sell to people. There were only 2 shots in Avatar that made 3D seem cool. Other than that it just makes people's eyes hurt and makes things jitter when it pans.

I saw it in 3D too, and thought it added tons to the experience. It certainly had no jitter. I can't speak for all others, but it hasn't bothered anyone's eyes of the people I know that saw it.

I don't get this movie. I mean, there is nothing about the plot that even begins to intrigue me. I would rather watch "It's Complicated, Up in the Air" or some other 50 year cougar flick than this thing.

The glasses for Avatar absolutely do not work for the Chuck 3D episode; i tried.

I have no idea why the poster saying they do is, because they do NOT (as has been proven already).

They work for him because he's special.

Yeah I'm kind of pissed I had to pay close to $40 total for both of us to see this. Definitely not worth $40. Ridiculous.

If you consider $40.00 a lot of money for an evening out, you should stay home.

Lol, ok thanks for the advice. I'm actually at home drinking a $20 beer and smoking a $30 cigar right now and watching an old 60's spy exploitation film. Much better value for me.
