Agreed, but I am sure he will say worse things than that. In fact, within the same 24 hour period he also called it a "witch hunt" and that "no politician has ever been treated worse". Give it time, he will have some great quotes. Don't forget this is the man that said (on the campaign trail) "Words, I have the best words"

Donald's problem is that he doesn't think that the rules apply to him. He thinks that he can say whatever he wants then deny it later. That works out OK when you're the boss and can fire anyone that stands up to you, it's not so great in a formal situation (like a courtroom).

He's a different animal and all I can understand is that I can't understand him at a visceral level. I'm glad of that BTW.

He's not that hard to understand. Think back to when you were a little kid (or think about when your kids were little if you have some). Remember that time you fucked up and got caught and your answer was to deny everything even in the face of undeniable evidence? Thats Donald as an adult.

It's entitlement, while Trumps Parents didn't appear to coddle him he has always lived a life of comfort.

I think thats he has this thing going on where his ego is telling him that he's the biglyest, most awesome person in the room but when he's faced with people who are obviously more knowledgeable and just a damn sight cleverer than him he feels threatened. He's never had to grow up and learn how to fit in with other people, he's still that insecure kid that only knows how to be spiteful when challenged.
