I DID IT! Paid off my house today

Well, I decided to do it. DAMN I FEEL GOOD!!! 263ksomething. Now we have ZERO debt. No credit cards, car payments..nothing. Wow, what a weight lifted off my shoulders. =) What was sweet is I cashed in some of my stock, 0.13 below where I got it, so I don't have to pay tax on it. =P

Sry, had to let it out. =)

But it's Long Island. Wait. Is your house a trailer?

pics or shens and you're 3.5 hours from me so I want a party invite.

That's funny. I just bought a house yesterday for 263k.

Gratz

That's awesome.

If you get start to miss having debt, feel free to pay some of my student loans.

That's great! Now if you will kindly give me your address I'll send my mortgage statement to you and you can pay mine off!

Posts like these depress me, I was thinking about 5 years back had I purchase the townhouse I was looking at, I could have paid it off by now. But, damn those hookers and blow...

They sure do make the time fly by though don't they? Or at least they are billing for a lot of time.

In your original thread I recommended paying off the house for the freedom you would feel - I'm glad you are feeling it!

I can't wait to be house debt-free...I have about 5 more years on my 15 year mortgage, we're thinking about knocking it down to about 3 years but I have 3 kids to put through college 😉

Congrats! Think of all the money you can waste on hookers and blow now without the worry of making a mortgage payment. It's the American Dream I tell ya!

lol

Seriously... good on ya! Go paint it some garish color that the neighbors will hate.
