Thats correct. The beeping came from the ATM next to me. It takes big balls to go to a store and use the card IMO. I could have gone to a gas station and at least got 20 bucks out of it
Anyways..something similar happened to me once and the fvcker spent 600 bucks on my card (bank credited everything back), so I know the feeling.

It's a good thing you didn't. They would have seen you using the card since ATMs have cameras - plus when the person would have gone back to retrieve their card, the bank would have been able to see who else was last to use the ATM that day and would have investigated you.

He could have easily wrote the card number, expiration date and name down though, and made transactions online.
