I do it all the time it pisses me off. Why do they even let you delete it. I always hit "delete" instead of "empty", its frustrating, and then I can never find where it is again.

Please help.

Start>Search "Show or hide common icons on the desktop">Recycle Bin.

Edit: meh. No, you can't delete a post. All you can ask is for a moderator to close the thread.

Why should we delete a post when LOL_Wut_Axel gave an answer that can help others?

Short rant upcoming...

Yea, that bothers me when you Google a problem, find a relevant forum post, read 3 replies, and the OP says "nvm, I figured it out", and doesn't provide the working fix :bangs head:

What that says is "fsck you" to all the people that follow in your steps. I got my fix, and you can get yours somewhere else. A forum isn't a free support resource where there's givers, and takers. It's a community where solutions are created through community effort then provided to everyone else. It can then stand as best known practice, or refined at a later date when someone else comes across the post; either internally, or through Google.

The above rant isn't directed to anyone in particular. Just something to keep in mind by everyone that uses the forum system :^)

That's very true, now that I think about it. The whole point of the forum is that we can share our knowledge with other people and they can share theirs with us. :)
