:cool:I am looking for a case that has plenty of power and cooling. I would like to stay under $100.00. Also any recommendations for fans for athon 950 and the best 128 ram for this board, with out taking out a second mortgage. By the way I am a gamer.

You picked a great board, so be nice to it and get great components.

HSF = Volcano II is under $20. Surf around for reviews and you'll see it performs great and is a steal for the price. Anandtech didn't have one for their roundup.

Ram = Gonna overclock that bad boy of a board? Kingmax PC150.
Otherwise any PC133 ram that does Cas 2, but stay away from Mushkin which is the most expensive (but very very good).

Case= Well, I got the Inwin S500 for $49. It has an AMD approved 300 watt PSU. I like it.

Looking for a case myself. I've had good experiences with Inwin in the past. So far, I've heard great things about:

Enlight 7237
Antec SX series
Fong Kai FK-603 and FK-320

Enlight 7237 is an outstanding, cheap case. Place for an 80mm fan right by the CPU, and the 250w PSU that comes with handled my 1000 @ 1350 @ 1.850v

simultaneous torture test :

1) Transfer 6 GB from one partition to another
2) Transfer another 6 GB from one partition to another (different partitions, obviously)
3) UT in software mode, looping cityintro, 1280x1024 (heh...software mode)
43) distributed.net

24 hours, case closed. Rock solid. For the price, it's a great deal. If you can, grab a 300w, just for funsies, but I'm amazed by how well their 250w handles.

It's also real easy to install, has a nifty removeable HDD and front cover, real easy to work with.

Pay the few bucks extra and get an Antec case/power supply. Ask anyone who has one, they will have nothing else. Any SX case is great, get the size that best fits your needs. The side door alone is worth the price difference, to say nothing about the craftmenship on the inside and out. I doubt ANY case has a better combination of cool running/quiet.
