I decided I am going to get the Xbox

I was thinking about what some of you said about some of the different consoles on my last post, and I decided that I am going to get the xbox, I can wait a while for some better games to come out, and I am sure that microsoft will be announcing some big games at e3. The package that I am going to get is the amped bundle, and I will get halo and an extra controller as well. If anyone has anything negative to say about this choice (but if it is because you have something against microsoft, don't bother), say it here, as for positive comments, feel free to post them as well.

I'm really liking my Xbox so far. Halo is a very fun game. Haven't played too many others so I'm not sure.

If you're into RPGs at all, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind will be coming out in a couple weeks. Suppose to be a really fun game.

Can't wait for E3

Good choice. Amped and Halo are both awesome games. Also if your into racing Rallisport Challenge is definately one to check out. Many people who bad mouth it have never played it and only go by negative reports and skip the positive.

Nice choice! Not sure if you guys have Costco up there in Canada but they have an XBox bundle - 2 games, extra controller, console for like $419 (save $20 if you bought everything seperately) ($419 in US dollars). Halo roxors too

its a good system. its not selling that well though, so its rumored they'll drop the price to 250 or 200. might wanna wait a bit.

Its not really a waste of money, cause I won the money I am using to buy it, $500 for the electronics store should get me a nice console with a few good games. Its free so why bother waiting, and I like Halo, and the superman game might be pretty cool as well.

 

Halo is coming to the PC soon. It will be much better. No reason to get an Xbox right now.

also, i think its awesome on the console. you get to play it on a tv which 90% of the time is bigger than monitor, and once you get used to the controller its awesome.
one more vote here for good choice.

Funny how none of the major console hacking webpages have said nothing about this.

Good choice. Games to get that are out now (these are just games that are from my personal experience. I'm sure there are some other good games out that I don't mention):

Halo (duh!)
Rallisport Challenge (If you like Car racing games)
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 (If you like these kind of games. I'm having a lot of fun with it)
Amped (like it better than SSX Tricky. Besides, you have Tony Hawk for SSX tricky kind of gameplay, while amped is a little more realistic)
Dead or Alive 3 (if you have friends over to play a lot. Not great single player but good fun multiplayer)


Games that might look good but you shouldn't buy:

Wreckless
Bloodwake
NFL Fever (some people like this, but I hate it. I'm waiting for the second wave of football games myself, but if you really want one now get Madden 2002)
