Because it's not possible. It's buggy as hell. It doesn't work.

Next question. Does anyone know an alternative source for downloading drivers for sound cards? Specifically the Soundblaster Live X-Gamer 5.1.

I dl'ed Audigy drivers for WinXP from there like 1-2 weeks ago. It worked fine then.
