Bah, couldn't use the forums birthday anyway cuz you have to be 18 to use friendster!

So yeah, add 'Anandtech Forums' as a friend (do a User search for 'Anandtech' without quotes or search email atforums@misterjain.com) and lets see how many we can get! NOTE: most likely your forums username is not in your friendster profile, so its up to u if you want to add it to your profile or not.

I don't know if this'll work, but if Friendster has superfriends for grocery stores and other random things, I figured we could use an AT Forums group.

But how can you tell? I thought there was a link to Top 5 or Top 10 posters but I can't find it anymore :(

I really need the forums start date...for a fun little project I'm bout to share with everyone here!

Here are the forums back on Jan 9 1998 !!

Start date maybe: "There have been 53053 visitors to this page since 11/1/97" so 11/1/97 ?

This was slightly before I joined.. I was a mac guy back then.. and *gulp* I went to tomshardware a lot too....

Yeah I think I actually found Anands through Tom's, Trying to get my AMD DX4 100 or 133 can't really remember to perform like a pentium 100. :)

Hey Jigga, you're like 3 friends removed from me. 'course I'm still debating whether I'll add Anandtech to my friends list (which has a whopping 5 ppl. on it)

OK first time I been to friendster and the first person I see is a girl who want to meet someone who knows what a donkey punch is. Amazing.

ViewSonic 13.8" LCD Monitor

ViewSonic, sometimes referred to as the king of the affordable monitor market came to Comdex offering a close to affordable LCD display boasting a price tag of under $2000. The 2.5" thick LCD Panel features a standard 13.8" display providing a maximum non-interlaced resolution of 1024 x 768 at a 75Hz refresh rate. Classic of most ViewSonic monitors are the onscreen controls of the VPA138 which make operating the monitor as easy as your home television set.

Yikes. glad those high priced days are over!!
