I couldn't watch the HL2 video.

I have all the video codecs installed on my computer. I can just see the first 5 seconds of the it and the video freezes. Any help?

You want it alphabetically or categorically?

Bottom line is that adding a few dozen codecs, at least half of which will fight over control of who's running what show, impossible to tell which version properly installed and didn't - is generally a bad idea.

ffdshow + mp3 + OggDS is pretty much all you need for playback. Encoding though is a different story.
