It's 42° outside! :)

Getting back in was a little tricky, but I squashed a path with my truck and was able to manage fairly well.

So who else rode today? :D

I saw a guy today riding locally around the city on a cruiser. I actually thought about it but I didn't want to pull my bike out yet since it's winterized and I'm not keeping it at my house. We don't have any snow though but there is salt/grime on the road everywhere...

Still the weather was good enough, 5 C + :)

saw a guy on a bicycle. A guy at work is on a cycling team and some of them went out twice last weekend and it was a good bit below freezing both days. This is bicycling, btw!

This was our second warm day and we haven't had snow in a while, so the roads weren't bad at all. It was nice to ride again- I'm going to have to invest in hand warmers and extend my riding season right up until the roads get slippery.

I see those people too -- well below freezing and they are pedaling away. Crazy people!

Cycling you are alright because you're producing body heat with exercise. On a motorcycle it's like :S

Heated gloves or grips FTW, I need to get those by fall time.

AT the bike shop near CWU, they have studded tires as well. Nuts!
Maybe YOU can get around OK, but that does nothing to protect you from the others.

You do have a good point. Traffic here isn't too bad when I'm usually out (working nights)..I'd love to be able to ride year-round.

Nice bike  I got in an hour or so today. The fog lifted and the roads dried up. I've been stuck home all week and getting a little stir crazy.

Thanks :) It'll be a lot nicer when spring arrives and I replace the tank - we're slowly recovering from previous owner's wreck. :)

Are you staying with an original SV color scheme or something different?

Something different - may be hard to see in the crappy phone pic, but the fender and tails are a dark metallic brown, as is my replacement tank. :)
