I couldn't find a better section to put this in...

I am at work and they block a bunch of ports, including AIM. Is there anyway to get around that?

Also, this isn't a hardware related thread, you'll have better luck in the Software forum or the Networking one.

They block the ports for a reason. If you can't change which port the software uses you are SOL.

If you're looking for full functionality, perhaps you could term serv to your computer at home or sumpin', assuming port 3389 is open. I think the web client's ActiveX plugin uses that port also, doesn't it? You could also setup a proxy tunnel.

Try Odigo, it supports ICQ, AIM, MSN and Yahoo. It has a web based Java client which has worked for me behind my company's blocked ports and proxy servers.

I tried MSN using it and it was pretty buggy to me, so I'm just using the Odigo network. You might have better luck with it.
