Flipping through the channels and I come across one of those "World's Scariest Police Chase" shows.

I think if someone ran away from me, I would have to shoot them in the back. Just the way I am.

The best thing about being a cop u can be in carpool lane alone getting pulled over show your id and they will let u go. Also if u are speeding and get pulled over they will also let u go with no ticket.

I'm guessing around 6 or 7 years old. First graders seem to know everything about everything, don't they?

policing runs in my family....i have a cousin who is an officer and my grandfather was a police chief. i guess i inherited the fascination of solving mysteries from him! in my dreams, i'm a detective, but the reality is that i could never be one, either. i'd have a problem detaching myself from my emotions. *leshrug.*

Sorry buddy, the kid is right. There isn't a cop in the USA that will give another cop, especially from his city, a ticket for anything. My brother is NYPD. Really. I know the deal.

Speeding. School zones. DUI, you name it. If you've got a badge, you get away with murder. Sometimes literally.

I've worked closely with the police these past several months. I think the hardest thing I've ever seen them have to do was tell the father of a 7 yr old little girl that she'd been killed in an accident. :(

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Maybe you know a lot of crooked cops, but they will definately NOT get away with things like DUI. Speeding tickets, yeah, 99% of the time. Cop pulls over another cop for DUI, you better believe he's most likely gonna lose his job, along with get the usual ticket/suspension. NYPD may be different, but to say that there isn't a cop in the USA that will give another cop a ticket is completely wrong.

Maybe you need to watch more movies. I know for damn sure that is not the way it is in the movies....

I saw this one cop show on Fox where they showed a cop on a traffic stop on the freeway. The cop was next to the driver side door bending down to talk through the window at the driver. Then all of a sudden a car comes zooming past him, which was soo close to the cop that the car actually clipped his gun and ripped items off his belt! If I was that cop, I would have pissed my pants right then and there.
