Okay, I went to a car show in Ohio at the end of July. One of the kids that I started talking to online from a local car club had mentioned that I could room with him and a couple other kids from the club. I go to meet up with "friend" by his house at the gas station by the freeway since we still had to meet up with the other 13 cars in the caravan. He tells me he's a little short on cash and needs to borrow $100 from me. He tells me that he'll pay me back when we get home. Well... after many phone calls after the car show, I have not seen any money from him. I've been over to his house before, but I don't know if I want to do anything stupid like sell his rims for cash to make up the money. Man am I stupid...

I would have to say that his friend is unresponsive :|

having many phone calls with the guy saying "ill get it to you later" and having many unanswered phone calls are 2 completely different things in this situation

Sell his wheels.

Be cautious around the J-Body crowd. From what I've seen at the JBash's, they're a very shifty and shady bunch...
