Twas quite charming when he said he tries to live his life by what the bible says. I pointed out that Aesop's Fables and what they teach are just as relevant, at which point he stopped and thought for a moment, then actually agreed with me.
To be fair, I don't really know if he'll actually go read them or not, but he was amazingly open-minded about what I had to say and not pushy at all. We had a nice 15 minute chat on my porch before he was on his merry way.
