I confused on iPhone...doesn't Cisco own the rights to that name?

someone else owns the rights. you are correct. I don't think they are officially calling it the "iPhone" are they? i haven't really looked a whole lot other than phonescoop

While Cisco Systems has a pre-existing trademark on the term ? as used in the Linksys iPhone ? Cisco indicated on January 9, 2007 that it and Apple have been in negotiations and expect to reach an agreement that day.[2]

In other words.....Apple is going to pay Cisco a ton of cash, plus a free reach around for the CEO, so they can have the name.
