I cleaned my keyboard!

It was nice. After a few mixups on which keys go where, I finally got it all put back together. I took off all of the keys, and cleaned them individually.

My god, you should have seen the stuff that was stuck under all of those keys. There was massive ammounts of hair, and all sorts of bits of junk and what not. It was discusting. Then I remembered that it all came from me and my nastyness. So that calmed me down a bit.

I usually get a new keyboard at that point. 🙂

Yeah, keyboards are extremely cheap these days. Get a logitech or microshaft keyboard for like 14 bucks.

disgusting.

you should check those keys again 😛

naw, that was just a typo, Thanks for spotting it.

I had the C and V mised up, along with the G, H, J. I had them as J, G, H, which is quite wrong.

Lolz, I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Lot of unsightly stuff under there. Didn't really need to buy a new keyboard just yet, it was just dirty.

I should clean mine too...my natural is my baby.

yeah, I love my keybaord. I dont think I can switch. Its actually a Dell Quitekey that I got with a dell my family bought like 6 years ago. This is the first time it has been cleaned in thus fashion. Usually it gets a blast of air and smack on the back.

It looks so new! The entire thing is a brighter shade of white. It is incredible.

Unless you have a $70 keyboard, why bother?

A basic keyboard is about ten bucks. If you look around on sales, you can get one for $6.99.

I just gave up a Dell Quietkey I got in 1998 for a Logitech MX Duo (Logitech Elite keyboard is identical if you want wired). Trust me, it's time to move on. It takes some getting used to, but once you do, you'll never look back.

Why bother? It saved me $6.99!

Well considering the fact that you spent so much time on it. Assume one hour becuase of the disgusting-ness of it. Also assume you work a normal job that pays $10 an hour... you just lost 3 bucks. :Q
