On 3 WU's..... DOH!!!! LOL I was playing with my ram timings and found a setting that seti did not like, or really liked depending on how you look at it. I noticed in my queue that my rig was pumping them out in 5-10 minutes flat. So, glad I looked when I did or I would have had much more than 3!

I remember turning in a 4 min WU once, I dont know why it happened though.
 
When myself and Alex were assimilating the college, we had one machine that was pumping them out in a few minutes.


Needless to say we went to the sys admin (we had permission for Seti) and told him to take a look at that PC, cos something was up with it, and he took it away, and the memory was bad on it. Hopefully we saved someone's calculations from going wrong!

If you get the occasional one done in a few minutes, don't worry, those are just WUs that have too much noise in them, and the app can't get any useful data out of it, so it sends it back as "unreadable"

If it's pumping them out one after another though, then it's due to bad o/c or memory/cpu

Doh! ,I had the same thing on an old rig a mate was running for me, an old PII 333 did a handful in about 1-2mins!

That reminds me ,he hasn't run SETI for me in a few months or so🙁
