I'll be blasting Arch Enemy on my iPod shuffle while blazing down the slopes in my snowboard...

Crisp air, beautiful snow-touched mountains and trees, fresh wind in my face..... OMG I CAN'T WAIT!

ANNNNNNNDD guess what? GF got me a 60-min Swedish massage at a fancy local spa. So the day after the boarding, I got myself an appointment of "Ooh"s & "Ahhhh"s to recuperate myself.

This weekend will be awesome!

This weekend on through new years day I will be snowmobiling myself.

We got 18" of new snow last night just at the house, and is supposed to snow all weekend. Best weather we have had here in a long time.

I can't stand snowboarders. Half of them can't do it worth a damn and end up being more of a liability on the slopes than anything. Maybe if we could keep them still when they fall at least us skiers could use them as moguls.

And FFS if it's crowded, do us all a favor and keep your ipod back at the lodge. :|

Hmm. Where in NH? I have been skiing and snowboarding since i was 6 and 19, respectively. But in the west where there are real mountains. Im having problems getting excited about the hills of the NE. I guess im looking for suggestions.

I cant stand cross country skiers. They love to use the snowmobile trails around here, and get to go find someplace else to do their little "activity".

I love when I can see them far down a trail, gets me time to get the snowmobile up to speed and blanket them in snow as I blow past them.

Skiiers need to learn their place. Snowmobiliers rule the mountain.

WA mountains have been getting puked on, I wish I had time to make it up before vacation. I dont want to risk getting hurt though because:

You should probably go ahead and surf this weekend, since:
A) the only consistently big swells in WA are in the winter and
B) it's only about 10 degrees warmer in the summer anyway

I surf here year round, I prefer Vancouver Island since the water is warmer or Seaside Oregon. This weekend will be spent packing and getting ready for two weeks in Hawaii.
