I have not logged on in a good while. I have since then, changed location, and would also like to change password.

I am able to log in... but when I type in the new password, and all the other changes, they don't take.

La help.

*EDIT* No Norton, or Zone Alarm etc... All Cached Cleaned out. All Cookies Were cleared as well.

Of coursssseeee it figures now that I made up my mind. This has to be the only week that Dell runs no special price, or coupons to be found lol.

IMHO a "good deal" is paying under invoice on a reliable Japanese import car. Although Hyundai has made significant improvements I think their long term reliability and resale value still have a ways to go.

Yeah and I LOVE THE 2005FPW, awesome LCD. I think the backlight bleeding problems affected the first revisions but mine is ok with no dead pixels. 1680x1050 in DVI is beautiful. You should be warned though that this is a VERY BRIGHT flat panel. At first it hurt my eyes and gave me a headache for about 3 days until I got used to it. Now all other LCD's seem so dim and dark.

🙁 Yea, I saw that on the monitor. Really bright... hmm I'll just wear shades while using it lol.

When I say the backlight issue. I don't just mean the bleeding. I also mean the bleeding that comes out of the case that I have seen reported on. As if the panel is not sealed. Would hate for dust to get in there and mess things up.

nah, I try to change my e-mail and I get an error box:

ERROR: You do not have permission to access this forum.
Error Code: 578

Then when I try again I'm actually logged out for some reason, and have to log back in.
 
Did you try clearing cookies and your cache? How about checking for spyware?

Maybe a faster option is to try another computer.

 
ahhhh well, whatever. i'll try and figure it out at home. seems like nobody else has had this problem. If I figure it out I'll post somethin.

Nope, no Norton here... not even Ralph (groan) Cache/cookies etc everything gets cleaned out every night.

I wasn't changing email address, only the password and some basic info to show where I now live, and the new time zone.

However, I just did try to change the email along with all else... It took the email change (I used a gmail account) but everything else still is staying the same... except now I have a password that was generated for me. So now it is an even worse problem lol.
