Well.. I understood that a few times..

I understood it best when I caught a kid two years younger than me (who hated my younger brother) letting air out of my bike tires in high school. It had been happening every few days for weeks and I never found out who it was. I finally caught him. When I caught him, I fought him. I seriously wanted him dead at the moment.
