i can't take it anymore .. what should i do?

My girlfriend and I have been living together for 3 years .. We've had a dog for over 2 years .. For about the past 1 1/2 years, I walk the dog in the morning, I come home for lunch and walk the dog, I walk the dog when I get home, and 90% of the time I walk the dog at night .. My girlfriend wakes up before me in the morning to go to work but she won't take the dog out and her excuse is "you work right around the corner, i have to drive to work 30 minutes.." And even if I ask her to walk the dog at night, she gets so angry and I can't ask her to do it without her putting up a fight.. Now mind you, I originally got the dog for her because we had moved cross country and she was lonely..

Anyways, the past 2 days, my dog has gotten up early in the morning and peed by our balcony door.. I asked my girlfriend if she would accept some responsibility over the dog and at least wake up 5 minutes earlier everyday to walk her in the morning .. AND SHE FLIPPED OUT ON ME!@

Now, HERE'S THE KICKER!@ My girlfriend and I are taking time apart .. She's going to be leaving soon and finding her own place and she WANTS TO TAKE THE DOG for 3 days a week.. WTF!@?!@# Is this not completely wrong and absurd? She can't even handle the responsibility right now and it PISSES ME OFF.. What should I do about it?

There's no lack in communication .. I tell her repeatedly that she never walks the dog or takes her to the park or anything without me having to throw a stink about it.. I take the dog to the dog park just about every weekend ..

It was a mutual decision .. It had to be because we live together .. I'm the one who went and got the dog and takes her to get her shots every 6 months and brings her to get her nails cut every month and goes and gets her food, etc etc etc.. The dog is in my name, I mean, i'm not trying to turn this into some sort of "custody battle" over a freakin dog, but it's obvious that my love and caring for the dog is much greater than hers.. She'd rather go out and party 24x7 then have to worry about the dog.. :|

Already getting rid of her once she moves out.. just needs to find a place first and she seems to be taking her sweet time doing that (been about 3 months now) .. So i'm going to be moving out next month which will force her to have to move out.

Hm, well you don't have to end it on a sour note... honestly what you have is a pretty damn good reason IMO... she will never hear you out, she wont help.. she can't even keep cool long enough for you to explain... tell her you've had enough.. i can see her being totally irate about that, but thats who she is apparnently. don't worry about it
