I can't stop coughing

This sucks. I can't stop coughing and every time I cough it really hurts my throat. My eyes are tearing from coughing so much. I stopped smoking more than 3 months ago, so I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Probably because you quit smoking, your probably starting to hack up all the crap in your lungs.

That or you have bronchitis, I just had that about 2 months ago and the coughing lasted me for over a month, really sucked.

you may have acute bronchitis.. i had this for the past few weeks.. but fortunately it's gone now. i only felt sick for a day or two, but the cough was unbearable for about 2-3 weeks..

I sure hope not.

It takes years for it to clear out of your lungs, I don't know how long you smoked for though.

When I had bronchitis I coughed so much that I started to cough up blood from making my throat so raw, not fun at all, I went to the doctors and they gave me some drugs that seemed to do the trick though and kept me from coughing, only downside is for the two weeks I was taking the drugs I was always tired feeling, really sucked and everyone kept asking me what was wrong because I wasn't talking as a result of a raw throat and being drowsy/tired 24/7 from the drugs.

Go see a doctor for sure though.
