i hate buying pants in general, my "package" is waaay too large.

Me too. That's why I drive a forklift to work.

definetly, I should edit the OP and put that in too. My package just bulges out, there's that issue too.

To the OP, sounds like you're candidate to visit a tailor and have new jeans altered, which isn't all that expensive.

Oh, and I'm expecting a package in the mail tomorrow.

I can't stand buying jeans...they always look so horrid on me after I wear them a few times. The problem is my waist varies between 30 and 32" depending on the season (less in summer, more towards 32 in winter). But my thighs and upper leg are always extremely large due to heavy squatting, deadlifting, running, and constantly playing basketball. So I can't buy normal jeans with a 30-32" waist on them. The smallest I can get is a 33" LOOSE fit jean. Even those are very tight at the thigh at first, but the problem is, once I break them in...they sag and bunch up around my ankles. The obvious solution would be to buy 32 or 31" loose, or even normal fit jeans, but the problem is, I can't get them past my thighs without ripping the seams on them in the fitting room. 🙁 Sorry, I know this isn't a big deal to most people, but it's really starting to piss me off. I'd wear shorts in the summer, but I despise shorts even more. Nobody looks good in shorts. Not even shorts models

Funny you should mention this, I spent all day shopping for jeans today for the exact same reason as you. In the end I decided on a pair of Levi's Silvertab's, although I also found a pair of BKE's that fit just as well.

dude, i soo feel your pain, mtn biking here all thru hs & college have made my quads huge. i look like a packmule in most jeans when i put my keys & cell phone in them!
I've found abercrombie's colden baggy to be pretty good and ck as well

I call shens. You'd have to be seriously out of proportion to have a 30-32" waist and thighs so damn big you can't wear normal jeans.

I have the worst time find a good pair of pants that fit. It had to find a 28 waist that look good. I need quickly gain some weights.

What he's saying isn't all that unreasonable...my thighs aren't THAT thick, but thick enough from my soccer-playing and working out and with a 28 waist, it can be difficult. I don't mind spending a few hundred on a good pair of jeans, so by now I have a decent idea of what will fit and what won't just from eyeing said pair of jeans. Most of my jeans end up being tailored to fit though...only $20-30 a pair.

so it's not that expensive to have them altered?

That's how you must have attracted that actress. She must have a thunder thigh fetish.

And your statement about shorts? 😕 The only people I've ever met that never wores shorts were red-neck cowboys out in the sticks.

I wear mostly Levis red and silver tab loose fit carpenter jeans for this very reason. My waist is 32 or 33 and my inseam is 32 or34. I couldn't even dream of fitting into a pair of 501s that properly fit my waist.

You'd be surprised how quickly an avid weight lifter will grow his legs out of slim and easy fit jeans. My 501s became uncomfortable just months after I started seriously lifting. A year later, 550s (easy fit) started fitting very tight.

This is a very common topic on weight lifting forums. Jeans are made for people who have big waists and small legs these days. Body builders and sports players have the inverse, small waists and big legs.

Another problem we face is finding tops and jackets that fit, and don't end up looking like a dress on us. It's impossible to buy a suit off the rack and have it look decent.
