I can't sleep :(

I've only slept for an hour the last 52 hours and I can't fall asleep. I just took 4 Gravel hoping it will knock me out. Anyone else have any other ideas? Every time I close my eyes I keep going through these vivid images and all I can think about is sleeping 🙁
 
Sleep deprivation can turn into a serious problem very quickly.

If you are having that much trouble, I suggest medicinal aid.
 
Its weird how sometimes, since you've been up for so long, that you really want to sleep but when u get the chance to you cant. Happened to me a few times, except for black friday where i fell asleep at McDonalds.

well, also drink water. Because you'll be sleeping for awhile and dont' want to wake up too cottonmouthed.
 
Don't mix booze and the nyquil, it can depress your vital signs. If you are this messed up, I suggest asking the local pharm. for something over the counter, and if that does not work, go to the doc.
 
If it doesn't work, take some melatonin. It helps me when I work long hours and can't sleep. Kicking in now, actually.
 
1. Sex, really really rough sex.
2. Triple shots of vodka/rum.
3. Take hot shower, get into bed, turn off lights, start listening to the BBC World Service on your computer.
4. ...
5. Profit
 
If it doesn't work, the next thing you should be doing is going to the hospital. I sense a ploy for attention. That much gravol and still conscious? Unless you've been swallowing rocks (gravel), then shens.
 
Lay off the meth. :laugh:

If you are actually tired and really want to sleep then lay still, stare at the ceiling, and don't move... not even your eyes although you can, of course, close your eyelids. No movement!!!! Not even one scratch. If you don't move at all it's remarkable how quick you fall to sleep. But if you move to scratch something then it's back to square one...
