I can't share files with WindowsXP Pro!!!!!

:disgust: I've tried everything I know and this doesn't make since. The Family PC is formatted in FAT32 with WindowsXP Pro installed, while mine is formatted in NTFS. Now the problem is I can view/open files on the Family PC from mine, but I can only view the shared folders on mine. I can't open the folders, because I keep getting an error message saying, "is not accessible. You may not have permission to use this resource. Contact the admistrator." Now I've tried running Network wizard on both systems. I've also tried adding an Adminstrative user to my PC with the same user name used on the Family PC. Also tried adding the user and adding them to get read permissions and still I get the same error on the Family PC. If I knew NTFS was going to be the hard to network, I would never have converted. Can someone help me with this problem????

1st, it has nothing to do with NTFS or FAT32, the other computer cannot see (or care) what
filesystem you are using

you could check out a few tips from
This Link,
which might help point you to the cause of your problem.
