I cant seem to disable cookies in IE6

My friend has the exact same version of IE6, yet he can disable cookies. Yet if I go to tools->options->privacy, and disable all cookies, cookies are still being created in my cookies folder. What's going on? I have all the windows updates for Windows XP.

I wonder if running as a admin would help you out , if you already are then are these cookies recent or are they old ones left over prior to disabling them.

If you don't get anywhere then you could always try a 3rd party software like cookie cruncher or such to get rid of your cookies , personall I don't bother with them so much as I have too many sites visited where my cookies are needed such as forums,etc.
