I Can't see BIOS w/ LCD Monitor!?

I notice that as I boot, I can't see anything until i come to the Windows XP screen. Is this normal? Also is there a solution or a go-around to this? Also I'm building my PC soon so I really need to access BIOS

When you think it is supposed to be displaying then hit the proper key to enter the bios.. hit is several times while it is booting up..

As for fixing the problem.. *shrug* I have no idea...

Try hitting the auto config button while it is booting (if you're using analog video).

eh? So as soon as i hit the start up button I should be pressing F1 F2 or Del keys, and it should appear?

Additional info, I have a Samsung 710T running analog to my Integrated Video (4 year old PC but I'm building a new one within the next 2 weeks)
