I can't reset my PIN... unless I have my PIN?!

My company's tech support can't figure this one out. I forgot my PIN or it's not accepting what PIN I had. I try to reset my PIN and the only option is to first input my old PIN, then put in the new PIN 2X to confirm.
All the instructions I can find online show options to use your password to reset it, but that never shows up for me.
My password and fingerprint work to get me logged on. Any ideas?

I've tried that. Neither of those 2 methods work for me because that's not what my PC does.

Then you need to be more explicit in what it is or is not doing and the OS (Win 10 I presume)

It wants a PIN, I type in my PIN, it says NO, I have to use my password. It won't let me use my fingerprint.
I can't rest my PIN, because it wants the old PIN first.
My only option right now to logon is to select password, it keeps telling me to enter my PIN for some reason.

Tell your IT Dept to have a look at settings in Group Policy as per this link. Apparently your computer is on what is probably an Active Domain and you can not make these changes yourself. Only IT can do so.

Thanks, that makes sense. Because my options are different from every online resource I've seen.
