All right guys I need some help.

I recently acquired a farked up laptop that the dummy tried to load Mandrake onto. I am going to attept to replace the LCD myself but that is a moot point if I can't get it reformatted with Win2K instead of Linux.

I tried to redo the partition with fdisk but it doesnt let me clear the partition and I cant reformat because of Windows not reading the LINUX partition.

I need some help here! How do I get the LINUX partition removed and replace it with a DOS partition? I tried a Win98SE boot disk but when I run fdisk it just locks up.

Can somebody give me an idea how to do this??!!??

Boot off the Win2K cd and delete, readd and formate the partitions during install.

Cool,
I was under the impression that the Win2K Upgrade disks were not bootable. I will give that a shot.
