i can't remove NAIL.EXE

did find the virus(it say it is a trojan)
i remove it , i remove the from startup(each time the name is difference), then my desktop begins flashing again.(taskbar)

so what should i do, i use lavasoft ad-ware to scan it, no help.

any advices?

disable system restore
reboot into safe mode
find it and delete it manually


also, it would not be a bad idea to post your hijackthis log over at spywareinfo

Removing Nail.exe won't solve your problem. It's just one of the many files that Adware.BetterInternet installs. Go to the symantec web site and download the cleaner application. Make sure ALL your apps are closed when you run it. Also wouldn't be a bad idea to get some antispy apps and run sweeps on your system.

The easiest fix it to try to uninstall the software. I can't remember the name, but it sounds spyware-ish in the Add/Remove Programs window. It will tell you that you need to download the removal tool to get rid of it all, and points you to the site. You may be weary of downloading a fix from the people who gave it to you, but it actually works (a lot better than any other method), and doesn't infect you with anything else.

and where do u think you get this NAIL.exe from?
