I can't remove my DVD burners

So I have an Antec LANboy case with 2 DVD burners installed. I went to try and remove them then found I wasn't able too.

Both drives had 4 screws holding them in the 5.25" bays. When I went to push the drives out they wouldn't budge. I felt around the back (the side of the case where the motherboard is attached) and there are 4 more screws for each drive! There is no way I can get around to those screws.

The 5.25, 3.25 and hard drive bays are all connected via some sort of bracket. That bracket does not look like it can be removed from the case.

I have no idea how they got them in, in the first place.

Any ideas on how to get them out?

You need to push the blue tab (front of drive rail) on the right side towards the side of the DVD drive while pulling the drive out.

I guess it was a super lanboy. however, I still can't figure out how to get the drives out. it doesn't have those blue latches.

Have you tried removing the right side panel?

The mother board is connected to the right side panel.

I have not seen your case but I have yet to see any case w/ the mobo tray attached to the side panel. Look at the back corner of the chassis for 2 screws, the side panel or side /top should be removable.

I have one panel that is clear and removable which there is incredibly easy access too the components of the computer. That is where the first 8 screws (total overkill) were. The other side is where the mother board is connected. I'm at work right now but I am about 90% sure that other side doesn't come off.
